Abstract: 

parenting style is one of the most important issues in raising children and shaping their personality. The purpose of this research is to introduce Bamrind parenting style and Islamic parenting style and to deduce the strengths and advantages of parenting style based on Islamic ethics in comparison with Bamrind parenting style. The main question is what are the strengths and advantages of parenting style based on Islamic ethics and teachings compared to Bamrind parenting style? The method of study is descriptive-analytical and inferential research. In addition to introducing Bamrind parenting style and Islamic parenting style, the study also explains the advantages and strengths of Islamic parenting style. From Islamic propositions, it can be inferred that the most important strengths and advantages of parenting style based on moral and Islamic teachings are: parental responsibility, providing a normal social and biological model, emphasizing parent-child-friendly relationship, paying attention to Islamic ethics and monotheist worldview, emphasis on normal expectations of children, consideration of children's cognitive and emotional capacities.

Abstract: 

The concept of freedom and its emersion in parenting is one of the important issues in the field of training and education. Inevitably, parents will have to deal with the issue of freedom in their children's upbringing. Nowadays, there is dispute about granting freedom to children and that, to what extent they can be left free in their activities and decisions. Three approaches can be identified in this extent, which are leniency, authoritative, and Despotism. The present article intends to introduce these styles, considering the teachings of the Ahl Al-Bayt (as). In addition, it aims to resolve the contradiction of the empirical data of parenting styles in the category of freedom, by presenting the realms of freedom based on the age and stage of development of the child. The research methodology of this work is based on documentary and library method. The research findings show that each of the aforementioned styles uses its own method of giving freedom in a consistent manner and, each of them presents contradictory empirical data to prove itself. While the style of parenting, which is inferred from the narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt and the Prophetic biography, is a variable style in accordance with the age and state of the child. With the explanation that up to the age of seven, the style of parenting is leniency and from the age of seven to fourteen, the style of parenting is despotic, and from the third seven years and the beginning of puberty, with increasing freedom, the authoritative style of parenting is realized. This variable and malleable model with respect to its degree of freedom at different ages, makes its own style of parenting.

Abstract: 

This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the components of parenting of adolescence period based on Islamic sources by the mixed methodology. In the qualitative phase, Islamic sources were reviewed using the grounded theory on the basis of semantic analysis. Among more than 500 Islamic propositions (according to the saturation principle), 166 propositions were selected. After analyzing them, 194 open codes, 88 axial codes, and 18 selective codes were gained. In the quantitative phase, the degree of conformity of the axial codes with the open codes and propositions, as well as the degree of conformity of the selective codes with axial codes and propositions, was confirmed by experts. According to the results, the components of Islamic parenting extracted are as follows: acceptance and parents' responsibility for children, care and guidance, gradual parenting, understanding adolescents' ability, attention and providing physical health and financial needs, helping to complete the identity (in the religious, moral, social, occupational and sexual dimensions, emotional relationship, justice, and assigning responsibilities to the adolescents), strengthening and punishing, respecting, modeling, and reasoned expression.

Abstract: 

Aims: To improve healthy family relationships, it is important to use educational programs and early prevention about the family. The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of mindful parenting with Iranian-Islamic approach with positive parenting on emotional selfregulation and mothers' self-efficacy. Methods: The research was quasi-experimental with pre-test-post-testfollow-up design (45 days) with the control group. The statistical population included mothers and seventh grade students of Isfahan. A sample of 42 people was selected by purposive non-random sampling in one of the high schools and was replaced in three groups (two experimental groups and one control group(. The data collection tool was a questionnaire and data analysis was performed through analysis of variance with repeated measures. Findings: Findings showed that there is a difference between mindfulness parenting training methods with Iranian-Islamic approach and positive parenting with the control group in terms of effectiveness on emotional self-regulation and self-efficacy of mothers (p <0. 05) And showed more lasting effectiveness for mothers than positive parenting method. Conclusion: Mindfulness parenting with Iranian-Islamic approach pays more attention than other parenting approaches to the processes of selfawareness, self-esteem, and mother acceptance.

Abstract: 

The lack of Quranic approaches in the production of Quran-based humanities is still felt, despite the predominance of the philosophical approach in critical approaches to modern humanities, which has become very common in the Islamic world and in Iran for several decades. It seems that the capacity of the method of thematic exegesis (al-Tafsīr al-mawdū'ī, Arabic: التفسیر الموضوعیّ) in this regard, can be used to bring the Holy Quran into the field of humanities. Thematic exegesis, according to whether its subject is inside or outside the Qur'an, has several functions in criticizing the structure of modern knowledge and scientific research, as well as the production of Islamic humanities. It is possible to make use of thematic exegesis of the inside of the Holy Book of Quran in order to “fundamental criticism” of the general fundamentals of humanities -the fundamentals of epistemology, axiology, ontology and anthropology- and it is also possible to use thematic exegesis for constructing and producing foundation of humanities obtained from the Holy Quran. It is used by thematic interpretation exegesis of the outside of the Holy Book of Quran -such as Shahīd (martyr) Sadr’s interrogational approach- to answer the problems of humanities and this process faces challenges such as the complexity and multiplicity of the “subject” of the humanities that exist in modern terminology of this field. It can be used in order to solve this issue in some cases to know the process of the change of the components of the modern of the conceptual history’s approach and also by analyzing the issue into several components can be shown that the components are not necessarily a product of the modern era and can be followed up in the Holy Quran and can be found up in the Holy Quran. The perspective of the Holy Quran, after that, regarding the modern subject in the desired field by the “combining” of the results obtained based on the thematic interpretation.

Abstract: 

The holy religion of Islam has proposed precise and truthful instructions for all human affairs, especially for parenting children. parenting styles are important issues about which lots of studies have been conducted in the West. The purpose of this research is to compare parenting styles of the West and those of Islam based on a Hadith by the holy prophet (pbuh). This is a comparative qualitative research which brings about applied results and follows an exploration purpose conducted through George F. Brady method. The findings revealed that there is a perfect match between the facilitator, authoritarian and connive styles and the definition, interpretation and concept of the terms Sayyed (master), Abd (servant), and Azad (free) in the Hadith. However, there is a slight difference between the authoritative style and the Vazir (advisor) style. Moreover, the Western theory considers the authoritative style suitable for all ages, while the Hadith considers each of these styles proper for a certain age. The results indicate that this Hadith is potentially appropriate to be introduced as the Islamic style of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) for the Islamic countries and even for the whole world.

Abstract: 

parenting is one of the key responsibilities of parents in all societies. This task becomes difficult during adolescence because the adolescent undergoes many physical, cognitive and emotional changes in the most critical stages of development. Therefore, parents need to learn special educational methods for this period. This study seeks, with a psychological and Islamic approach, to develop parenting methods for parents, especially fathers, along with strategies and tactics. Strategy is a plan designed to achieve a long-term goal, and tactic is the operational methods used to achieve the goal. The method of this research is the analysis of the content of Islamic and psychological texts in the field of adolescent parenting. For this purpose, Islamic texts and psychology related to adolescence and parenting in adolescence were reviewed. 58 basic codes were obtained from Islamic propositions and 234 codes were obtained from psychological research. Data were qualitatively analyzed using Atlas T software. After classifying the initial codes, axial coding and networking were performed with an Ijtihad-integrative approach. The research findings include three general strategies and 28 strategies for parenting: adolescent relationship strategy including giving qualifications, peace-seeking, popularity, proximity, insight, cognition and humor. Education strategy including attention to health and acceptance of excitement, responsibility, intellectual guidance, sexual guidance, fostering rationality, limitations, participation, skills development, occupational skills, supervision, advising, success, practicing decision-making. And parental self-management strategy including solidity, seeking help from God, educational harmony, counseling, self-attending, commitment to one's principles, marital consent.
